The Need for Green Technology for a Cleaner Environment

The main aim of green technology is to decelerate global warming and decrease the green-house effect by creating new technologies that do not harm natural resources.

Fremont, CA: Green technology is the kind of environmentally friendly technology used in a way that does not disturb the environment and does not destroy natural resources. Green technology is also referred to as 'environmental technology' or 'clean technology.'

The main aim of green technology is to decelerate global warming and decrease the green-house effect by creating new technologies that do not harm natural resources. This is expected to result in less harm to people, species, and our planet's overall health.

Here are three activities included in green technology:

Use of renewable energy sources and alternative fuels

It has become crucial to find an alternative, as fossil fuels are gradually being depleted. Green technology aims to use renewable resources such as sunlight, water, and wind through solar panels, dams, geothermal wells, and wind turbines.

Sustainable Buildings

The need for a home is also growing due to the rapid increase in the world's population. That is why many steps have been taken towards the construction of innovative "green" buildings. One of the main objectives for this is to properly locate the building according to sunlight. Recycled and environmentally friendly materials are also used. Although any type of building causes some damage to the environment, proper home planning can greatly decrease negative impacts.

Recycling

The recycling of objects made of paper, glass, metal, and plastic enables the same materials to be used again. This aims to mitigate the further depletion of natural resources.
