The new range of solar panel and solutions will soon be out to level up consistency and sustainability.

FREMONT, CA: "The REC Alpha Series is a revolutionary new solar panel that has a power density of 217 /m² and produces 20% more energy than its conventional counterparts. Aesthetically sleek and designed for strength, the Alpha series will provide homeowners and businesses in the growing U.S. solar market with a higher power, more efficiency and a clean source of energy, says Cary Hayes, President of REC Group. The company has introduced high-performance solar panels for the U.S. rooftop market. "REC Alpha is driving energy autonomy for consumers – delivering real cost savings and creating a brighter, cleaner future for society," Cary added.

The REC alpha series is the world's most potent 60-cell monocrystalline solar panel that delivers up to 380 watt-peak (Wp). It reaches a 21.7% efficiency rating determining how well a panel converts sunlight into energy. It shows energy production with higher lifetime yield. The growing market of the U.S. of solar partners is already at the winners' corner with higher power and more efficient clean sources delivering an excellent value of energy. It has continued to deliver better performance in shaded conditions. Half-cut Heterojunction cells (HJT) integrates the advantages of crystalline silicon solar cells with thin-film technologies that enable the series to achieve higher efficiency and energy yield.

"At REC, we are always looking toward the future and how we can provide better and more efficient sources of energy for the next generation. The REC Alpha Series is the world's most powerful 60-cell panel that will fundamentally change the competitive balance in the industry," says Steve O'Neil, CEO of REC Group. "By offering such a high-value solar panel, REC is trailblazing and creating a win-win opportunity for REC Partners and their rooftop customers who seek the very best and want to make a difference for the next generation." With increased power and efficiency, the REC Alpha Series panels are backed by REC's industry-leading 25-year product warranty and a 25-year performance guarantee that ensures 92 percent of the initial power.

The Renewable Energy Corporation (REC) is a solar power technology company holding an extensive presence across the value chain. REC produces silicon materials for photovoltaic applications and a significant producer of cells and modules. The company aims to provide benefit from electricity directly from the sun to every person. REC generates value through effective and sustainable solar products, and investment possibilities, with its partners to meet the increasing electricity needs globally. REC Group is a Bluestar Elkem company with unique product quality, supported by the most economical warranty claims rate in the business. The company believes in going solar as it is an efficient use of space. Going solar mitigates carbon emissions, and is rather affordable. REC aims to build long-lasting connections with both global customers and solar installers.
